Welcome to FLEX Academy, the premier virtual learning experience offered by the Douglas County School System for students in grades 4 to 12. The FLEX Academy provides a flexible, self-paced education program for students who seek a long-term virtual learning solution. With the FLEX instructional program, students can maintain enrollment in their zoned schools while benefiting from the convenience and adaptability of virtual education. Beginning January 2021, students are even able to participate in sports and extracurricular activities at their zoned schools. Additionally, select electives can still be taken in person at the zoned schools, providing a well-rounded educational experience.
Our team of certified teachers is dedicated to building meaningful relationships with students and providing the academic support they need to thrive. With the support of one-to-one devices provided by DCSS, students can easily access their virtual classes and coursework. While DCSS ensures the provision of hardware, it is the responsibility of parents to ensure a reliable Internet connection, enabling students to fully participate in the FLEX Academy experience.
